Thanks to my best friend showing me and gifting me a license of the Corel Painter 2023 program, I’ve decided to revive many photos from my past. While I’ve always been a bit leery of using AI-powered photo editing software, the results with what the software can do with particularly old digital photos is marvelous! I feel as long as people are open and honest with the tools they use, there’s nothing wrong with it, long as we give credit where it’s due.

This is the first in my soon to be long-running Ephemeral Edits series. It’s sourced from a photo I took at Camden Yards Ballpark in Baltimore, Maryland in 2005 at a Red Sox-Orioles game. I really like how this came out, particularly because it reminds me of the pixelated console baseball games I knew, played, and loved as a kid, like Hardball 3, for example. It brings back good memories from a time before adult life chewed me up and spit me out and sports became all about money lines.
